Blenner’s Transport Depot, Innisfail

Jackson and Jackson Refrigeration were selected to provide the refrigeration and air conditioning services for the new Innisfail Depot of Blenner’s Transport.

The Refrigeration for this project is provided by the Jackson & Jackson Refrigeration Pty Ltd High Enforcing Produce Cooling System.  These systems provide a variable refrigeration capacity to cater for periods of high refrigeration load, during the initial cooling of the produce and the lower refrigeration capacities required for simply holding the produce at the correct temperature.  This allows for the refrigeration capacity to be matched to the cooling load required at all times.  A Danfoss, Variable Frequency Drive and a Danfoss, Pressure Transmitter were employed to achieve these results.

All of the cold rooms are fitted with remote controlled, vertical uplift doors to improve operational efficiency for both loading and unloading the cold rooms.

The Daikin air conditioning systems for the office are one of the most efficient systems available in Australia.  All of the systems feature compressors driven by inverters.

The air conditioners and refrigeration systems installed utilise R410a refrigerant.

This project was delivered on time and within budget.  The installed plant is now being utilized at maximum capacity to cool and store produce for the Innisfail district prior to dispatch to southern markets.
